???????? OMG

Its 3 am and its happening again, can anyone help me? i wake up feeling like my heart is racing nonstop and i cant calm down or sit still, so i got up and came here to try and calm my nerves. i went to the dr. yesterday and she said i have high blood pressure. but what is this ??? its the 3rd time it happened in a week ???? can anyone help me ???? by the way not to scare u but i am pre-op

It could be pre-op jitters, but your doctor should send you to a cardiologist or adjust your high blood pressure meds. Hope this helps. PS I am pre-op also and I feel excited too and my blood pressure has been running high too.

I'm sorry sweetie, did he prescribe blood pressure medication for you? That should help regulate your bp so this doesn't keep happening. Good luck! Heather

hi KarenBarb hope this morning finds you better -- are you on any other medication?? have you ever had an anxiety or panic attack?? it could be the high BP trying to pump the blood thru the heart -- it could be the jitters of dealing with the rat race of insurance companies and this dr and that dr and what appt do i have next -- it could be numerous things -- good luck to you roberta
