approval

I finnally got my approval today from Aetna HMO . It took them about 5 1/2 weeks to give me an answer. !YEAH!!!!!!! My surgery date is july 19

Cassandra~ CONGRATULATIONS! I have a question. I was told that Aetna members MUST do a 3 month, medically supervised excercise/diet program BEFORE surgery, is this true for all Aetna members, or just some? Just curious, because I have a friend who wants the surgery and has Aetna. Thanks! Michelle

hi michelle Aetna requires either a 3 month multi-disaplenary (SP?) with dietician, pcp, excersize -- or a 6 month dr. supervised diet -- it's all part of the red tape your friend can go to www.aetna. com and use the aetna navigator to read up on it good luck roberta
