hi dee its karen, how are u ???? i am going to the doctor today to start the supervised weight program for the next six months so my insurance will approve the surgery ! god that is such a pain cant i just show them pictures from the last 25 years LOL!!!!!!!!! u dont look like u need plastic surgery u look great. anyway gotta go to work, i got a promotion for a lead teaching position in the preschool class for september go me !!!! see u at the next meeting.......

Hi Karen ! Congratulations on starting the supervised diet. As the other poster on this page said... it will WILL just fly by. I would encourage you to start gentle exercise you enjoy NOW.. to help get you in good cardio vascular shape. It doesnt have to be torture, if you cant walk or dont like walking, there are literally exercises one can do in a chair, or also options getting into a pool swimming or moving in the pool a few times a week is all it would take. You know... Roselle is not that far, you should consider visiting sometime the Toms River meetings. AJ, Jack, Nanette, Dee(Diedre K) Nancy S, Jennifer D, (myself) and a host of other folks are regular attenders... its a every upbeat and enjoyable group and we often go out for coffee at the diner nearby after. Anyhow your very much invited to attend sometime if your in the area, you would be very very welcome ; ) In July we meet... Friday July 7th at 7pm Community Hospital Route 37,. Toms River and Thursday July 20th at 7pm Center for Healthy Living (by Kimball Medical Center) in Lakewood, NJ We have an active, fun group of people who have had the surgery, and a few folks such as yourself that either are scheduled to have the surgery soon, or are just learning and checking out whether to have the surgery. Your not alone in this journey, you have a lot of (perhaps undiscovered ) friends out here ... so if you havent came to one of our groups.... Please give it some thought? Have a super day !
