I need help with locating a surgeon in central NJ/Penn who takes insurance (not out-of-network) and will do surgery on my 17 year old daughter. Any and all input would be appreciated.

Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeons in Florham Park New Jersey is AWESOME!! And the BEST!! They have an entire process that takes you form beginning to end. They have had many younger patients your daughters age and they have had articles done on them for that reason before. Once you are in their waiting room you can read that awesome stories. The insurance was a breeze as they have an entire team that handles the whole process and there is very little for you to do as far as even dealling with them. I (Freds fiance) talked to them (the insurnace company) 2 times at most and it was great. They leave no stone unturned with any of your questions. You can visit their website to read all about the surgerys that they offer along with a link to a webcast that has the procedure done live (well taped ) that is awesome. Their website is www.advancedlaparoscopicsurgeons.com Fred's doc was Dr. Bertha but both are extremely awesome and we have friends who have had Abkin and loved him too. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask us any questions. 973-410-9700 is their number. According to mapquest they are about an hour and a half from you. When we went to his pre-op class there was a couple that had traveled from PA to have this group and I know from that that Morristown Memorial (one of the hospitals that they work out of) has a sort of hotel that family can stay at very inexpensively when a family member is in their facility so his wife was able to stay their and be close to him without the 3 hour drive they had. Sorry this is so wordy but I hope it helps.

I have been looking into this surgery for a very long time now and I have a cousin that had Dr. Kirkland and loved him in PA, I am going this evening to my consultation with Dr Capella (believe he takes Adolescent), he is in Ramsey NJ/ Bergen county, and its great for me I am in Sayreville NJ (central) they now have a train that takes you to NJ Transit station on Route 17, his office is behind that so if you wanted to or needed transportation its good. also I hear he is the best and hackensack hospital is the best for this surgery. I will find out tonight but they say he has the lowest mortaility rate in the world and people from all over the world come here to have him do their surgeries, but like I say thats what I heard but I will find out tonight. I held many hands of others for this surgery and over the years I have gained what others lost so cant wait this is my begining. good luck on your search for a surgeon. and read up on Dr. Capella on this website
