Happy Wednesday (vegetarian question)

I am chomping on low carb meatloaf. I use a little bit of cheese to bind together instead of breadcrumbs, TRES delish. Which is ironic, because I'm in the midst of doing research on becoming a vegetarian. HM. Does anyone know anyone who is a gastric bypass patient and a vegetarian/vegan? Just curious. I'm on cloud nine, because I just settled a client's credit card, for 30 cents on the dollar. Woo hoo! Now, if only student loans were negotiable!

I don't know any WLS vegans/vegetarians, but I am thinking that you will need to find others sources for protein such as soy, tofu, beans, peanut butter, etc being that we get most of our protein from meat other than the protein shakes. Good Luck on your search, Carla

Hey Angela How ya doing? We missed you thursday at the lakewood meeting : ) I hope you post this week, I promise if you post I will post back to ya..sometimes its discouraging to post with no answers I know. As for veggie/vegan... its possible to still get the protein just harder? If you use milk it wouldnt be bad, but if your veggie/vegan with no milk I think it limits you extremely. I dont eat that much meat, but Im a cheese whiz bigtime. Sandi and I drove past the Strand a couple times..on the weekend.. I was curious..... have tryouts for Grease already passed? Oh well if so... I was thinking we should get a "support group night - where everyone goes en mass to one of the Grease performances in August or whenever. What do you think? Anyway... your presence was missed, AJ and I both noticed you (and a few others) that couldnt make it. I hope your week goes well, and that things are progressing smoothly for you. Post when you can, email if you have any info on grease (or heck post it so the Pilgrims can catch the Theater fever too : ) and have a super day eh? God bless Timmy Ray
