Friends in my Area wanted

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if there was anyone close to my area. I live in Little Ferry, Bergen County. I moved here in December from Massachusetts. I had my surgery on August 29, 2005 to date I have lost 120 lbs. Shortly after surgery I met a man online who lived here in NJ. Needless to say we hit it off great and I made the move to be with him here. We now are engaged. Trouble is he works over nights in NYC. I haven't found any friends here yet. I spend most of my nights alone while he works.. and alone yet again while he sleeps during the day. I am looking for someone or somONES to do things with. Such as Walk, go to support meetings with or anything in between. I am 35 years old. No children yet. Although we will have his 4 year old daughter for six weeks starting the first week of July. If anyone is interested please let me know. I am bored off my rocker lol Much Love Kimberly

it's going haha we have something else in common -- i met my husband online yrs ago and i moved here almost 4 yrs ago -- we were only friends -- i was already married -- but ya know, sometimes life comes at ya fast -- and the next thing i knew i was living in jersey and getting a divorce after 18 long & boring & just together for the kids years-- it's different here -- don't order fried clams!!!!! well i guess you wouldnt' anyways i really had a problem with food when i moved down here -- it just didn't look the same or taste the same -- and lobster!!! oh my god the first time i ordererd a lobster!!!! i wanted to know where the rest of it was -- it had no claws!! no body!! no legs!! just an itty bitty tail and it was called a Rock Lobster -- what the hell is that???? sorry but i only eat Maine Lobsters haha there are so many other things that i find differnt -- but i do enjoy it here -- i'm right outside of philly -- close to the shore -- there are alot of different things to do -- my husband is from Philly/S Jersey -- we drive alot!!!!! well not lately cuz i'm sick -- but we put 22,000 on our brand new car in 1 year to the date i like to do crafts -- they have a Christmas Tree Shop in N. Jersey and they are building one down here in Cherry Hill (don't ya just love a bargain) we used to drive up to the one on the NY/NJ line in Spring something NY just so i could go haha i also crochet -- i have 2 adult's (they aren't kids anymore) who still live up in Ma -- i have a grandson who's 2 --- well there's part of the life!! haha i'm a DIE HARD sox fan!! i pay comcast dearly so i can watch every game i'm a DIE HARD Pats fan!! you have to play like a team to be a team i have birds (amazon, keets, finches & conure) the amazon talks & sings anything else ya like to know??? take care Roberta our pic was taken at the philly fireworks 2005 -- and no they don't play the 1812 overture when the fireworks go off -- it sounds funny but they play the wrong music haha

Wow Roberta, Thats alot of info.. And awesome because we seem to have ALOT in common. I also like to crochet. Im not good at it.. I am trying to learn again.. Its been awhile. I also love the sox and am a die hard pats fan. I love birds.. Dont have any now, but had parakeets and had a Beretta Bird named Snowball. I also love the christmas tree shop. Thats funny because I just mentioned to my fiance that I wanted to go to the one at the Paramus mall to get some things for his daughters room. John and I like to drive too. Sometimes we drive down south to AC. IF it were up to him we would go all the time. But I am not fond of sitting around and waiting for him to play poker lol. hi Kimberly, I am not in your area, but in Central Jersey. However, I seem to have a LOT in common with your husband LOL I, too, work overnight in NYC. I, too, would spend all my time playing poker in Atlantic City (or blackjack, or video poker machines) if I could. I sympathize with you, though, about moving somewhere you don't know anyone and he works nights and sleeps during the day (this is probably why I have no significant other in my life!) LOL Anyway, I would love to be your friend. You cannot have too many friends (and don't worry, I am not after your man!) LOL Oh, one more thing we DO have in common: my oldest son and his family (wife, son and daughter) live in the Boston area and moved there recently so he could work at Merrimack College. He is the Director of Athletics there. They live in Westford and I have been there once. Yours, June
