Newbie... Waiting for approval from insurance..Dr Iqbal and Khan

Hi everyone! My name is Tina and I just joined the site. I am 24, been married a year and am very excited and nervous at the same time. I can't wait to hear back from the doctors office. I got a call 3 weeks ago and they said my insurance approved the surgery but I need a statement from my primary physician which I faxed over 3 days later. I just wanted to say Hi and meet everyone!

I am in the same boat right now.... I met with Dr. Trivedi today and he said I am an excellent candidate for the surgery, and I had copies of all my consultations with me (primary care referral letter, nutritionist and psych. eval) and I should have a surgery date tomorrow. I was sad not to leave with it today, but for some reason they couldn't reach the person they needed to reach while I was in the office. Hopefully, tomorrow we will both be closer to having a date for surgery! I am so ready. Godspeed to all of us :)
