Approved!!!!

Hello, I haven't been on the board in a long time and hope everyone is doing good and acheving their goals. After 9 nine months of doctors visits and following a 6 month doctor supervised diet, I am finally approved. I was approved in one week and got my date for June 19th. I am so excited I can hardly wait. Since I had a date 7 months ago and already did the pre-op class then, they are not making me do it again. If anybody that went to Morristown Memorial can refresh my mind about where to go and what to expect I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Karen

Hi Karen, That is great. Good for you. I am on my 5 th month of the supervised diet program. When you were on the program, did you loose weight??? Your date is right around the corner. Good luck. MM

Hi Mark, No I didn't lose any weight. It was kind of a waste of 6 months but hey if it's what I needed to do to to get approved I would do it all over again. I just went every month and got my weight and blood pressure checked. There was no diet or restrictions given by the doctor. Good luck to you with only one month to go. Your almost there. Karen

i didn't lose any weight on the 6 month diet either -- i was really trying too!! Roberta
