Thanks for cheering me up!!!

Hi to all my fellow New Jerseyans!! I am back from a frantic weekend in Wildwood with the state Elks convention in the rain. We had a great time anyway.I was reading all the posts and having a good chuckle. Missed alll you guys at the support group Friday night because we went down on Friday morning.Here's an update on me... after receiving approval on May 5,(hooray) I am still waiting on a date.All my test results are sitting on The surgeon's desk waiting for his approval.He doesn't go into his office much or they are in a hurry about nothing. I keep calling and that's what they tell me. I would be ready on a days notice at this point but I am still waiting.I am mostly a lurker but read the posts every day. I also am glad to see everyone trying to make this board more active. (Thanks, Timmy) will let everyone know my status as it develops.

Hey Toni~ My name is Michelle, I am from Brick, and I am also waiting for a surgery date. I will probably find out tomorrow. I am going up to Hackensack for my surgery. What an awful weekend for the Elks convention :( My daughter is an Antler and she was supposed to be there, but had the "Relay for Life" at Brick High all weekend, she couldn't go to the convention because she's a Varsity cheerleader at the high school and their attendance is mandatory. It turned out for the best though, since the weather was so bad. They camped out at the high school in tents, in the rain, so she ended up getting wet anyway! I was at the support group at Community Medical Center on Friday night, for my first time, it was great! There is another one coming up at Kimball in a week or so, I will be at that one too. I hope to meet you, we live so close to each other. Good luck with getting your surgery date set, please do keep us posted.
