Back in the Day...

Hey Ya All. Back in the day, before Substitute teaching, before First Anniversary trips to Walt Disney world (thank you my sweet Wife Sandi J :P )) back before life intruded... I USED to post here... like.. daily. In fact I was the first person on the Singles Board to have more than 600 posts... total. : ) ----sigh I havent posted here for nearly two months. Tonight, June 1st, well this is my 12th post.. tonight/this morning....(what can I say.... I missed posting : P) and its now 244am. I have an appointment to meet Deidre and AJ to work out in three hours.. so I will make it brief...or Brief.. -er? Im Timmy Ray, 42, married happily now for 382 days (we were married May 16th last year :P) to the lovely Sandi J. Both my wife and myself are RNY post surgery folks. I am a member of a active, fun, enthusiastic support group that meets in Lakewood and Toms River NJ called OCWLS which sounds fancy but just means Ocean County Weight loss.. Surgical. I am excited, down 210 pounds from my day of surgery, 18 months out as of May 22nd, and enthusiastic about this message board, and about our group that meets a couple times a month for Bariatric Surgery support. I CHALLENGE you , if you are a post op person, or a pre op person, to post here on the New Jersey board at least ONCE a day, for the next week. I promise to do the say. If we all do that for the next week we will see EXPLOSIVE (like BANG) growth and this will be a funner place (yeah funner... Im gonna be a teacher so aint it grand) SO....Post, tell us a little about yourself, ask a question, share a victory, or even tell us a joke (hey laughter , genuine laughter heals : ). But Most of all.. come POST here on the New Jersey board. 18 months ago, back wayyyyyyyy in the dawn of time .... the Singles Board here on Obesity Help was like... "dead". Dead from the neck.. both ways. 4 posts a MONTH. Maybe. On a GOOD month. A few of us more verbal nerds.. (ok ok... a few verbal folks, and myself... being the nerd part :P)... started to post daily.. and now.. man .... if your single and havent checked out the singles board.... its at http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/wls_singles/ Its a good place.. its where I met the love of my life, the beautiful and Talented Sandi J (Thats Mrs. Timmy Ray : P) ANYHOW... Way back then.. us Single Folks (at the time) .... We did that..posted daily... and now the Singles board here on Obesity Help is one of the most fun and active boards. *solemn Timmy nod. I hope to meet more of you folks that have joined the New Jersey board since the first of the year, and I promise to post more. Soooo Lets all post and share and dance wildly from the chandeli....err... Lets all post FREQUENTLY (grin) and make the New Jersey board a happening place..too? Whaddya say? If AJ and Deidre work me too hard you may see me posting SUNDAY from sleeping all day after working out.. this will be the first time I have worked out officially since my surgery.. but otherwise I will post again later today..
