Toms River OCWLS Meeting Friday, June 2nd

Just a reminder that this month's Ocean County Weight Loss Surgery support group will be having a normally scheduled (first Friday of each month) meeting this Friday, June 2nd at Community Medical Center, Aud A. It will be held from 7-9pm. Hope to see you all there - whose coming? Also, another reminder that the OCWLS's Lakewood support group will be having their normally scheduled (third Thursday of each month) meeting on Thursday, June 15th at Kimball Medical's Center for Healthy Living, 198 Prospect Street, Lakewood from 7-9pm. Hi Nannette, My name is Karen, i was wondering if i could attend the meeting on friday i am looking into the surgery, but right now i am changing my primary dr. so she will be able to get me ready to be approved for my ins. My surgeon is in Staten Island, and i live up north in Roselle. Could i please come to the meeting to see what its like ? If so could you tell me exactly where the hospital is i would really be grateful....... my email is [email protected] i am new to all this internet and computer stuff, as well as this website.

Hey Karen - sure, we'll welcome you to the Toms River meeting on Friday. Community Medical Center is at the intersection of Rt 37 West and Hospital Drive in Toms River. Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 82A (first exit after the Toms River toll) - make the jug handle left at the first traffic light onto Hospital Drive. Hospital is right there. We meet in Auditorium A at 7-9pm What Dr in Staten Island are you using -- I, myself had RNY in Staten Island with Dr Heather McMullen at SI University Hospital -- United Surgical Associates. Hi Nannette, I plan to attend tonight but I don't want to get stuck on the GSP -- I plan to take Route 9 South from Howell but I know it runs into the GSP. Mapquest tells me US 9 becomes Lakewood Rd -- does that mean I keep going straight past Home Depot when the GSP links up with Rt 9, and then just turn right onto 37? I'm sure I will end up there eventually. Look forward to seeing you again tonight. Michele
