Ok folks, here's a question for ya: do you love or loathe your protein drinks?
I get violently ill from them and my doctor has said to try and get my protein from my food or bars.
How are the rest of you dealing with protein drinks?

So when is/was your surgery and how are you doing? I'm six weeks out and thankful I'm past liquids and purees..:D

Topic: New show on The Learning Channel

For all of you that have cable tv and get The Learning Channel, Starting on Monday of next week they will begin broadcasting a new show called Big Medicine. I'm looking forward to this and I'm hoping to glean more information and help out of it also. It will be on Monday evening sometime. I look forward to watching it and seeing what goes on.

There is a support group first tues of every month at St Alexius in Bismarck. at 7:00 p.m. in Boniface Hall located next to the E.R. entrance.

I don't know about the convention because I personally haven't any information on it but I will let you know Dr. Bruderer did my surgery and he's fabulous. He does have a whacked sense of humor like me, because when he introduces himself, he says "My name is Bruderer, rhymes with 'murderer' " LOL

Hey Nette,
Wow! I'm excited for ya! June 4th is gonna be here before ya know cuz by the time you get off the high that you got your surgery date, the next thing you know is you're checking into the hospital..LOL.
And good on ya for only having six months for the whole process! Mine was 14 months but worth it.
