BCBS of North Dakota

I am looking at having WLS and am scared my insurance won't cover me. I am 25 years old, 5'5 and weigh 254 lbs. Diabetes and Heart problems run in my family. My moms side of the family is overweight. My mom had WLS about 20 years ago. I don't have any serious health problems now, but am wondering if they take into consideration that I could have more problems in the future because of my family history. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks~Kaylene
