What do you take when you are sick?

I have come down with a good case of chest congestion, sore throat, headache, etc.  You know, "the creeping crud".   First time in a long time, first time since surgery.

What do you take?  I picked up some Tylenol Cold multi-symptom rapid release gels for the day and take nyquil at night (ran out of my tylenol with codeine).

I hope I get feeling better soon.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have used Vicks vapor rub on my chest or under the nose for chest congestion. I put it on just before bed and it helps break up the congestion. Doesn't smell the best, but it sure does help.

Steph,

I used that last night.  Just stuck up my nose.  Not as much fun as coke (just kidding).   I remember my mom use to rub it on my chest.  I wll try that too.  Feel like crap today.

I take nyquil day caps, sudafed (both) during the day. I take nyquil nite time caps at bed time.
Putting vicks on the chest and throat helps, keeping them covered after. Stop putting it IN your nose! Trying to kill yourself or what??  I know we grew up with our parents doing this to us and we have lived to tell about it. THe lable says to not put it on/in mucus membrains, whi*****ludes your nose! LOL
Get better, if your not at the meeting tonight I will know why. Friday is coffee!! Luna's on Univ! 6pm. Maybe seeing as you might not make it to the meeting etc.. you should bring the roasted chick peas to the coffee LOL

It helps with the deviated septum from my Coke use.  LOL.

I am going to pass tonight and get some rest.  I will be at Luna Coffee unless I am in the hospital.  Have fun.  Bring the recipes to coffee on Wednesday.

Thanks
Steve
