I am ashamed to admit that I haven't had the time to check in here as I should.  I see some new names/faces - so that is all good.

I had RNY almost 3 years ago, and am doing well.  I became a grandma to a little baby girl in March, so that was very exciting for me.

I hope everyone is doin well!

Kelly, glad to see you are still here - I've been away too long.

My name is Tammi and I had surgery Oct. 22nd.  I am happy to be the lightest I've been in 20 years!  I try to attend the support group on Mon. at Innovis when my three teenagers aren't needing my presence somewhere.  I would also love to try to make it to one of the coffee times.

Congrats on the new grandbaby.....wow -   I can't wait to become grandma,

  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone and nice to "meet" you!  Every day is a new day for me now - I know the surgery was a tool, but at least thus far, it has helped me make wise choices for the most part.

Lori,
I have missed your smile! Congrats on the new baby "grandma"! They are a special gift.

Stop over for some support groups sometime. We also have a small group who is meeting up from time to time for coffee or such. We try and meet at least once a month, outside of the support groups.

Life here is busy as usual. Another school year over, I am working summer school, Camp-a-day program and I am working at Innovis on call. Busy, busy.

In May Steph and I did the 5K with the group from Meritcare including Dr.G and staff. Then the next morning Steph and I did the half marathon. My feet were dead after that! LOL

Keep in touch!
