I feel great, off blood pressure med, glucose is normal, walking 40 to 55 minutes a day.  Starting weight lifting.

Lost 66.5 pounds including the  pre 2 week from hell diet.  Did not have any problem with following the diet.  Just the hormonal changes and the withdrawals from all my addiction ( white flour, white sugar, breads, fats, junk food, heavy cream and plus I quit smoking 2 weeks before I went on the 2 week diet.  I just about canceled.  Was having second thought all the way until my surgeon came into see me right before the surgery.

No complications, no prolbems, have only thrown up once at 3 weeks on shrimp, have not dumped.

A little low on vitimin D but am taking care of that.

I am glad I had this done.
cleaned my closet out today  goodbye 22, 20, 18,

Looking forward to size 12

Congrats on your new begining! Your on a wonderful road I see by your stats. Keep up the grand work and remember it is all worth it in the end. I remember cleaning out my closet (s) it was a lot of work! Now I just take in pieces a couple at a time.

There is no reason we cannot make a committment to using the ND board.  I find the main board is getting pretty off topic at times.  However, there is a lot of great information that is shared on that site also.

Let us know if you ever get to Fargo, we can have a special "Coffee Clutch" in your honor.  By the way isn't coffee clutch an old term?

I amazed you lost so much weight pre-surgery--that's amazing. I'll be starting Dr. Helbling's "pre-op hell diet" on July 1st, 2010. I hope I do half as well as you!

for me the diet was easy it was quiting all my addictions that drove me crazy.

I too wanted the sleeve done but my bmi was not high enough.  insurance wouldn't cover it because of that.

Just take the 2 weeks  of diet one day at a time and pray pray pray.

Dr. Helbling is wonderful in my opinion he is the best.  I only wish I could have him for  my pcp but that is not possible,

You will do fine.
