Made it thru sugery and now back at home

Hey everyone.

I had surgery about 1030am on Fri. 9/25.  Surgery went really well and the nursing staff at Park Rapids is so great!  Shout outs to Jason, Brian, Chris, and Kim who was a student. They were so great and personably and so encouraging.

I was told that I was a good patient.  I just walked without being told.  And there were actually a few of us patients who would walk together to keep each other motivated.

I will be returning to Park Rapids next Monday for my check up and to have the sitiches removed.

Also, incase you weren't aware, they are moving all of the bariatric advantage stuff from the Little Red Barn to the J&B Grocery Store which is a couple blocks from the hospital.  This is where I had to get my pain meds willed before leaving today. 

I look forward to seeing you all again next month at the group meeting!
