Favorite breakfast items?

What gives you the most bang for your protein (buck)?

What is it you just can NOT in any shape or form tolerate for breakfast?

Yes, it is that bunch of questions from tink time! LOL

My favorite breakfast items are:
1% Cottage Cheese (1/2 cup)
Pepperoni slices (nuked to crisps) 14 of them.
This yields me between 18-21 grams of protein to start the day.
This gives me (IMO) the most bang for my protein levels.

I have not found anything that I just can not tolerate, However I don't do bread type items, they are just not a high enough ranker on my list in any shape/form.

Today another fine example was:
!/2 cup vanilla yogurt (3 grams protein)
1/4 cup cinnamon granola.(2.5 grams protein)
1/4 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder.(6.5 grams protein)
All that only yielded me 12 grams of protein, hardly worth the effort IMO

Whats up with you and your choices?

I usually have a smoothie, eggs, peanut butter toast or yogurt with granola for breakfast. I gotta have variety. I get tired of the same thing every day.

My smoothies are whatever I have on hand. Usually Isopure (vanilla or chocolate, sometimes pineapple/orange, which I can't stand, but have to use up) So milk, choc Isopure, peanut butter, sugar free hershey syrup and lots of ice. Or whatever fruit I have on hand, milk, yogurt, Isopure and lots of ice. This week I had overripe melon so I used that, a little yogurt and milk, isopure, splenda, cinnamon and lots of ice.

I still have problems with dry chicken.

I eat cheese and peanuts for my protein snacks.

Becky
