Sof/pureed food ideas, protein shake recipes and Meritcare Dr. Referral
Hello there.
sorry you are having problems,, I went back and read your previous posts and if I am correct, you had open RNY surgery March 5th..is that correct? And then on March 25 you were eating walleye and yams? I dont think your little pouchy was ready for all that. I had lapro and wasnt eating that kinds of food for many months after. You just had major surgery, your insides are healing, keep that in mind. And , JMO... your name on OH tells me a lot of your attitude about RNY.
Keeping positive about your new way of life is the healing road ahead.

Everyone responds differently to the changes necessary for success after the surgery. That's why you would do well going to a support group, so you know you are not the only one with issues. Take it slow, don't try to advance too quickly, or you will respond with situations that feel like complications that others might take in stride.
Because you hold the healthcare professionals responsible for the decision you made, is another reason its good to get together with others to share your complications so you can see how others dealt with them. This is your journey, and your surgeon simply gave you the tool. Its up to you to determine how well you succeed. You need to find the means to make this decision a success. This board is a great way to look for the benefits, rather than speak so harshly about professionals which others have found to be very helpful. Think positive and respond positively, and you'll get a great deal of support. I'm wondering if maybe you weren't ready for the commitment this decision requires?
