Support Group Page?
Hi Everyone! I went to the support group tonight @ Innovis and thought someone mentioned that there is a "site" here or something that would list the groups scheduled and maybe who was to be the guest! Well, as usual, I am dazed and confused... I cannot find it! LOL If anyone that was at the group tonight looks at this, please add me as a friend! I can use all the help I can get! Everyone had such good ideas tonight!
Thanks,
Amy

Hey Amy,
Kathi will usually post something right here about the innovis meetings/support group. Just keep on eye out for it. Was nice to meet you last night.

Hi Amy, I normally also attend that meeting, but totally spaced this last one. The group meets the third Monday of each month in the same location. Sometimes they mention the topic at the previous meeting. Hope to see you next month!!! We had surgery only one day apart, but I had the band done. Hope things are going well.

Hi, Amy,
On the top of the page on this website (not necessarily on this forum page, but right after you log into the site) you'll see a tab that says "Groups". Click that, and it opens to a place to fill in a city or zip code. Enter Fargo. You'll see several options, but ours is the one with the feet on the scale, called "Weigh to Go" Click the tab that says "Join the Group". That's all there is to it.
I'll be posting details about the March 16 meeting. I'm getting together a listing of the values we need to make sure we track to assess our absorption of vitamins and the B's. It came up at our meeting in Feb that family or primary doctors often use traditional values, to assess, rather than being familiar with how the WLS patient is very different and so are our numbers. We'll continue the discussion on the varied kind of vitamins we all take, so we can all get familiar with other options out there. That's a popular topic and others have told me they want to discuss it even more.
