ND- Needs to Post! What are your plans for the 4th of July??

   Our family is planning on going to the state park not to far from home and having an old fashioned family picnic.   The family will not consist of EVERYONE but the few of us that live right here.   The grandkids can have fun in the water,adults can play some Norwegian golf,cards,games of choice. Food will be plenty (seeing as this is my last Holiday before surgery!)     A good time shall be had by all! Now for the one kink in the mix- People will not get off their duffs and help plan/commit!  Gets a poker hot and ready..maybe that would be a lil incentive!LOL    SO, What are your plans for the Holiday??

My son is coming home (July 2-6) from Denver - yeah!  I miss him terribly - he moved to Denver in February, so I am excited to see him.  It is his and his brothers birthday on the 3rd (one will be 23 and one will be 20, so they are not twins) so we will have birthday celebrations as well. On the 4th we are having a family reunion of sorts at MY house - so we will be grilling and having a lot of fun! It looks to be a good few days weather-wise, so I think it will be a blast.

Sounds wonderful!!! Enjoy that family time and seeing the men of your life. I am still heating up the hot poker and twirling it a bit cuz no one has yet said if they will be around etc.... OMG - too funny!  I walked away knowing I knew you from somewhere, but I couldn't place it.....I am getting old! You enjoy the 4th too!

We are getting together with friends and family for BBQ and a HUGE fireworks show...Last year it took about 2 hour to shot off all the fireworks and this year the guys are looking and getting more...Boy will be boys... I hope everyone has a save and fun 4th...

My hubby is in parades for the Shriners on the 4th and 5th, and my class reunion is this weekend, so those will keep us busy.  Plus there are relatives and friends in town we are hoping to see. And, yes, boys will be boys, and my hubby and his buds have a bunch of fireworks to set off, too! Have a great weekend!
