Pre Op

Well I am off to my pre op tomorrow.. I will be starting my liquids next Monday, jut can't wait for that.. Surgery is June 4th, time is starting to go by so fast, hard to believe I started this Jan 22, 2007 and almost 6 months later I am having the surgery, wow. I hope everyone is doing great in their journey. Nette

Hey Nette, Wow! I'm excited for ya! June 4th is gonna be here before ya know cuz by the time you get off the high that you got your surgery date, the next thing you know is you're checking into the hospital..LOL. And good on ya for only having six months for the whole process! Mine was 14 months but worth it.

I'm interested in how well your surgery went, and how you are feeling? Congratulations btw!

I am feeling great!  Surgery went really well for me, no complications.  I was in the hospital Monday and out Wednesday.  I don't even feel like I had surgery, besides a little pain but that seems to be all for me right now oh and some tiredness.

It has been about a week and a half for me and things are going well.  I almost wish I had a little dumping or throwing up just to know this tool is working for me, I am afraid I will be the one it doesn't work for. Ask any questions you like. Congrats to you, you are on your way, things will go fine. Ronette

 

Glad to hear you're feeling good! My husband didn't have have dumping or anything ethier, he tells me as long as I follow the doctors plan and "listen" to my pouch I'll be fine too. Maybe you're just doing so well following orders you wont have any of those at icky side effects. I know I don't want them! lol I pray your journey continues to go well for you!
