BCBS pers state of ND

Just wanting to know how BCBS pers state ND does with approving & dening claims. I Have a BMI of 37-38 , I have gerd, degenerative joint pain, hypothyroidism and my Dr. has referred me to a sleep clinic. What are the chances of getting approved?

I helped my brother in law with his BCBSND, and he was a HMO where he had to designate his heath care location in advance. ND required that the surgery be done at a center of excellence. I found his policy was less restrictive than BCBSIL. I don't think you'll have problems, but make sure you know the Policy beforehand. You can get it off the BCBSND website. BMI 36, diabetes Gerd, high bp etc etc. Rny on May 15th not a single glitch. BCBS ND state employee

I have BCBS NDPERS - I did have initial problems, as they denied my claim due to my BMI not being 40. I resubmitted (with uncontrolled sleep apnea), and they approved within two weeks.
