I guess my ten hours at work took it's toll yesterday. I actually slept until 7!!! I know, I know, some of you are saying, "tsk tsk, that's sleeping in?" Well it is for me. Today I'm not sure what I'm doing. We have a trip to VA coming soon and we need bucks for that. I know a few bills need to be paid first. Then I work this afternoon. I enjoy working Thursday afternoons because it ends in Zumba!

I get to work all day today! My advocate at work has been working overtime getting me hours. Oh and I also think I have a recruit for the WFH business! So yesterday was a good news day!
How is yours?

Went to an interesting discussion last night on genetic testing and how it relates to what diet and exercise program one should do. Inherent Health is the name of the company who did all the research and clinical trials. They are very focused on preventive medicine and not on curative. I am going to try to get all the information typed so I can share with you later.
All this week I work from 7am-10am. At least I get some hours. The new manager did not work out. So, we are back to two of us. We head up to Culpeper this weekend to check on housing. I hope we find something.

Yes it's early. I woke up about 4am. So, I washed my hair and rolled it up. It will look nice, eventually. Just a reminder, tonight there is a special speaker, a doctor from Duke who will be taking about the relationship between our DNA and how we should eat. I am very curious about this. It will be from 6-7pm at 1020 S. Miami Blvd, Durham, NC. If you are familiar where 70 and Miami split near the Bojangles, go to the left. You will see the treeline open up on the left. A gray strip mall is set back from the road. You will see Beach Bingo, Total Gain, Reliable Health Center, Curves, a church, and a daycare center as some of the shops. Come into the Curves. Here is the flyer:

Shannon,
I hear how incredibly hard this is for you and I think you do need to do what you can do to ensure that you are as hydrated as possible. I don't know if is anything else might help with the nausea. Keep sipping constantly if you can.
You are having a much harder time than normal because of having to recover from the second surgery. Most people do not have to endure a second surgery and a grueling schedule. If you can work with your administration to let them know what is happening as you work to getting in your requisite hours, maybe that will help some.
Please, please do take care of yourself. I don't think it's a case of the surgery being a bad idea, but the timing associated with gallbladder attacks and associated surgery have really complicated things for you.
