Hello all,

WOW, yesterday was NOT a good day for me.  I don't know what is going on with my hubby.  He told our landlord a completely different story about our move and now I am totally confused.  So, we may or may not move even though he is already up there.

Today, I hope will be a much better day!

Hi all,

Today is a very busy day.  I have to meet family for lunch, work, swap shop, store and whatever else I can find to do.  Got lots more boxes so I am thinking more clothes in wardrobe boxes, oh I have to buy another bar for one of them and the linen closet.  Yikes!

Still can't decide if I am going to take that 2 1/2 hr drive to get something repaired.  If I put it off until I get to VA,  I may never do it. Hmmmm

Hi Steph,

It is always a good idea to have your support system set up whether it's a counselor to help you deal with triggers, emotional eating, head hunger, etc, or a nutritionist to help you pick healthy choices and learn about your metabolism, plan what exercise you will do when yo are ready and, of course, a good support group.  Remember this is only a tool.  You still have to deal with the issues behind all the weight gain.

Good luck!

Hi all,

Well, not a whole lot has changed in 24 hours so I won't have a lot to say.  Need to run some errands today and work, pack and that's about it.

I hope you all have an awesome weekend.

Hi all,

Well I am realizing that my activity level has dropped drastically due to not having many work hours.  Now I have to find an activity other than packing boxes.  My dog and I went on the trail yesterday and I think we are going to start doing that everyday.  I don't want my weight to jump back up again.

Today I have my other job so I won't be doing a lot of packing.  What are you up to?

Hubby looked at a condo in Orange yesterday.  We have a problem with the rent and deposit.  We don't have it. SO, this may be a stumbling block in getting a place.

Hello all,

Today is much the same packing and more packing.  Have to stop by the UHaul place and pick up another wardrobe rod.  Going to pack up all of hubby's clothes he left and all of our coats.  Then I need to hunt for more boxes.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to drive the 2 1/2 hours to get my coffee maker fixed.  It is a Delongi and it was quite expensive.  I still have some time to mull it over.  May work awhile at the vineyard today.  Earn some more bucks and get some experience.

Have a great day all!

Hi Gypsy,

While Medicare is a federal program and therefore administered the same no matter the state in which you live, Medicaid is administered through each state, so 'answers' can vary state to state. That said, I would try cross-posting  your to the Main, Insurance and VSG forums to see if anyone else has had some experience that might help.

In regards to your question about if you should appeal so that you can have the VSG, if I were in your position, I would have my PCP, Orthopedic, and Bariatric phsycians all write on my behalf to appeal the decision. The worst you'd end up with, is the same denial you already have, right?
