Hey everyone! I am officially 14 days out and am down 30 pounds as of this morning. I am not having any problems getting in the protein or fluids, but I must admit I am getting sick of the same old thing every day food wise. I have GOT to find some new meals to try. Anyone have any favorites they would like to share??? Lisa L. 380/350/170

Hey Lisa, I'm glad that your surgery went well. I've been wondering how you were doing..... 30 lbs, that's awesome....Good Job.....It's good your back on the board and doing well....I just had my heel spur removed today, so I'm kinda out of it... I'll try to think of some new stuff for you to eat....and get back to you...Take Care, Sandi

Lisa, you are doing fantastically. A few ideas for food: - Campbells Select Butternut Squash soup is great -- the consistency is perfect and you can add a scoop of AnyWhey to it (more or less to taste) and either a little plain yogurt or lite sour cream. - I make a lemon egg drop soup with a can of low sodium Swanson's chicken broth, I bring to a boil and stir in a beaten egg and a good amount of lemon juice to taste. - A variation is Chinese egg drop soup -- bring to a boil, stir in a beaten egg and add a bit of soy sauce to taste and if you have any Chinese 5 spice powder or even just a bit of ginger and you have a tasty soup. - Mince up a bit of cooked chicken, top with a bit of monterey jack cheese and pop in the microwave just long enough to melt. Too long toughens the chicken and makes it hard to go down. Then add a spoon of salsa and a spoon of lite sour cream. Yummy. Hopefully some of these will spice up you meals. Take care, Many blessings, Maureen

Hey Lisa, My comfort food when nothing else tasted good (still is) is called Danish in a bowl.I got the recipe from the recipe forum. Beat 1 egg, mix into an individual cup of cottage cheese. Add 1-2 packets splenda, vanilla and cinnamon to taste. Microwave for 3-4 min. Yum, yum. Gail
