My Plastic Surgery is a go!!!!!!!!!!!
I just received a call from the plastic surgeon's office and it is a go. The insurance gal said my primary insurance denied me for the panniculectomy because they don't do predeterminations for this procedure. So, my primary insurance will pay for the hernia repair, four days in the hospital and anesthesia costs. The doc will then submit for the panniculectomy as medically necessary and they may or may not pay. If they pay it is at 100%.
My wife's insurance sent them a letter stating they would pay for the panniculectomy.
So now I just have to wait for a surgery date. This may take a while since they are coordinating two surgeons from two separate medical practices.
Yahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
