Whey Protein

Does anyone here take whey protein as a supplement? I substitute one meal per day and it really is good! Of course, I'm talking pre surgical... I probably need to check the sugars in it. Blessings, Diane

I have some but have not tried it yet.I got it for my pre op but my Dr does not require it .I will take it post op now.What kind did you buy that you like? I got some at Walmart and some from GNC

Hey Diane, I use Ameican Whey. I get it from Sam's Club. It's very reasonable there. Just a suggestion, don't use too much of it pre-op, you don't want to make yourself sick of it before you actually need it. Once you have surgery then you have to drink it, and if you're already sick of it, well it's hard...Trust me I know, I have to force myself to drink it sometimes. .... Sandi
