Revision

Has anyone had revision surgery done by Dr Ranjan Sudan at duke?

I have not...yet. I have completed all of my pre-op testing. I am waiting on approval for revision from lap band.

I am currently making contact to setup an appointment. All testing done except sleep study. I started with Wake Med but my surgeon relocated to Va, I can not travel that far.

Have any of your people have a RNY to DS by Dr. Sudan, or does he perform them at all? My initial consultation is scheduled for 9/12.

I have not had Dr. Sudan, but I run a large support group in Raleigh and we have a number of patients that have used him and have been pleased.

I know that we have members that have had revisions, but I don't recall if the revisions were from an RNY to a DS. I do believe that Duke has surgeons with experience doing revisions from an RNY to DS. I know that Dr. Sudan is very experienced

I have my initial consultation with Dr. Sudan on 9/12/2013. I have been on my second journey since January, 2013. my initial surgery was 3/19/2003.
