question about flu/vomiting

 i'm over 2 years post-op and have maintained my weight successfully. the only issue i'm having is this: ive come down with a stomach virus and i cannot throw up. im nauseated, my mouth waters, and my stomach churns, but nothing happens. i feel like if i vomit, ill feel better. anyone else experience this problem? ive not been able to vomit since pre-surgery...help? is it just me?

You are not alone.... I have the same problem, it is not a problem most of the time but I see where it could have its down falls. I have not been sick since surgery so I have not had to deal with a Virus. I can not imagine what you are feeling like inside. I did have those if I throw up feeling I would feel better feeling after surgery when I was able to eat soild foods again. I feel gor you.
