If I lose weight pre-op, will I end up at a lower weight post-op?

I'm planning for surgery sometime this summer (RNY).

What I'm wondering is this:  if I lose, say, 30 or 40 lbs before my surgery, by the time I am "done" losing weight after my surgery, will I end up at a lower weight because I lost weight before the surgery, or does it not make a difference?

Hey,it doesn't make a difference. My goal is 185, I lost almost 30lbs before surgery. Your goal doesn't change.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
