Sunny Sunday Roll Call

Hi all,

Can you believe it's going to be in the 80s next week for a couple days?  This weather is strange.  Anyway, today we take mom-in-law to church.  Hubby has to work so another lonely day ahead.

How about you?

I got out this morning and tried out a new church. Standing up singing got very tiring, so I sat down. IT was a great service though! And btw...I know I am from SC, but nothing goes on in that forum and I'm literally a mile from NC. So, I included myself with you guys if you don't mind! :)

Hi Everyone!

Church was great today as always!  We have a new preacher and we are very pleased with him.  Anyone in the Whiteville, NC area come over and check out Trinity Baptist Church!

Has a very relaxing day today. I was very tired after cooking about 6 gallons of Chile for everyone who came out and worked at the church yesterday!  I overcooked again!  LOL So I came home and canned 16 quarts of chile.  It will be sooooo good on a cold winter night! 

I wish that my dr apt was sooner!  I really want to talk to Dr Harris about a revison! Oh well I will just have to be patient!

I decided to get outside and enjoy the weather.  I'm running a 5k on the 30th in Raleigh-the Monster Dash-so I went to the park and did a 5k.  I was able to run 1/2 of it with no problem pretty much alternating between running and walking.  Completed in 50 min so that wasn't too bad for my 1st try, right?

Spent the rest of the day running errands and then BBQing with the family this evening.  A wonderful end to a great weekend.
