I am home- YAY!!!   Thanks amanda for letting everyone know. Amy sorry I did not call you back, I fell asleep because they came in a shot me full of benedryl (yup had a reaction to the painkiller drip) Overall surgery and post op have been ok, it was just pain meds needing adjusted that wasnt workig too well, but it is all good now. I am very sore and stiff but walking is helping. And I have NEVER been so happy to hear and feel a fart as I was today. :))

Welcome home!!!! Glad everyhting went well after they got your meds adjusted. Sorry you had that reaction to the painkiller. That sucks.

But you are home and you already farted. My what an accomplishment! It was days before I produced one. You are precocious! lol Are you sip, sip, sipping and walk, walk, walking? Or are you too worn out yet?

Glad to hear your surgery went good.  I just heard I was approved today and have my scheduling appt with Dr. Davidson in two weeks.  I hope to be right behind ya!!!  Best of Luck to you and keep up the good work!!

 YEAH for you!!! I'm so glad you are at home & farting!!! My cousin who had this done a few months ago- said NEVER trust one though....thought I'd pass that along to you!! hahaha

I found out today also, that I'm approved!!!!!!!!! I go Tuesday to meet with the surgeon & to get a date!! YEAHHH>>>>I'll be a LOOSER soon too!!!

OH I am not trusting a fart but these have all been air so far. TG.
First protein shake postop has been interesting to say the least.

Yes I am sip sip sipping and walk walk walking. The nurses at the hospital said they were gunna have to lay new tile because they were convienced I was gunna wear a hole in the floor. I was up every few hours walking and ALWYS walked after I took a pee or after I "ate".

Chicken broth is my best friend right now.

I look like hell warmed over but hubby hugged me "gently" this morning because I was having issues getting out of the bed. I was crying I was a beached whale and he might as well call animal control to come get me. He hugged me and told me that if all beached whales looked as good as I did then there wouldn't be a wale shortage. I love that man, he can take that sort of situation and make it funny but he also lets a person know they are so worng abiot thinnking negative about themselves.

YAY I get to take a shower today. as soon as I finish my shake I am back upstairs (*CRIES*) and into the shower. Gunna feel glorious let me tell you.

Glad to hear all is well with you! Congrats!  I was right behind you!  We will be doing this together.
