Steamy Saturday Roll Call

Hi all,

I hope you all managed to stay cool yesterday. This heat is putting a strain on the power grids.  I pray for relief soon.

Channel 11 Troubleshooter is coming over next Tuesday to film our empty house.  Evidently, this bogus moving company has done this to hundreds of people up and down the coast.  The new owners are stuck with many storage fees.  I guess we broke the camels back on this and forced the company to stop.  No one should be allowed to take advantage of innocent people due to greed.

So, today, don't have a lot planned.  I'd like to do something.  Hmmm, you?

You know it sucks when businesses and yes even individuals take advantage of others.

I stayed cool yesterday for majority of the day.
I couldn't sleep last night because sleep evaded me AND because I was freezing. DH had turned the AC way up and I didnt realize it until I had went up to bed and my feet were freezing like an hour later. So yea he will be receiving an earful when he gets home, no sense in making it THAT cool in here.

I am going grocery shopping today (FUN FUN NOT). THen coming home and having to clean. Seems to be all I do these days. GUnna hate to see what this place looks like when I am done after surgery.

I think we are supposed to see some let up next week on the heat. I like it warm but this is outrageous.

I've already done 2 loads of washing and got them hung out. That was all I had to do today. Wish I had someone to go anywhere with me today. Oh well I will just bug my son and text him all day. lol. Have a blessed day all.
