Gas Pains?

Hi All,

I am now a week and 2 days out of surgery. I am finding that I am getting very bad cramps and gas pains. And these gas pains are worst then what I came home from the hospital with. My doc recomended gas-x. So I took the gas-x but it felt very strange in my new tummy. I was wondering if any of you had similar problems and what you did about it.

Did you get the gas-x strips that you disolve in your mouth?  Those are the ones I was told to get.

No I didn't . The doctors office didn't specify. I will hit the CVS today and get those and see if that makes a difference.

Yep Gas-x strips are what you are needing. You are not suppose to be swallowing any type of pill for a while. Be careful, that funny feeling you are talking about may be the pill not going down correctly and it is just sitting on top of the opening at your stomache until it dissolves. Been there done that.   God Bless.

Gas-x is good but walking alot helps too. I know its kind of hard at first (Believe me I know lol), but walking will help relieve the pain. U can do it!!
