I have been on this site for like a week or so and OMG the rudeness of some of the postop WLS people surprises the heck out of me. I asked a simple question in the main forum and I get my head taken off. I get told to google it or to do my own research which i have and I do believe i said that but I was a bit confused about some of the wording. I wont name names but this person and a few of her buddies just tore into me when I responded with "Please no need to get hostile, it was only a question." I took the post down because it was causing issues. I just want to know why these people feel the need to be so rude when some others are just beginning their journey or are part way there in their journey. I am so tempted to just close my account and be done with it. I have basically been doing this on my own with some support from others and of course my overly confused hubby, it would be nice to get some acceptance for once. I know i should have a thick skin but dang it is ridiculous. SOrry for the rant, was just in a pizzy mood I guess.

Hi,

I can't apologize for everyone but I am sorry you met with hostility.  Maybe they all had PMS.  Hard to say.  Please don't leave.  Not all of us are a pain in the ars.  If you want, you can message me and I will try my best to answer your question.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

I think I will just stay over here now. I got a "polite" message from someone telling me I had NO idea what I was talking about when someone asked the signs of gallbladder disease. LMAO I think I would know since mine was turning GREEN when they took it out. LOL. SOme people just need a serious reality check but I am not going to give it to them because I am bigger than that.

Yea, too many folks play "doctor".  That is not support.  Anyway, hang around here for awhile.  I think we won't bite lol.

And I figured I will stay in this forum for a bit until I actually have the surgery and then can answer questions from a postop view. LOL yes I am being a chickenfoot but the less BS and crap I get from people the less stress i will have.

Hi!

Honestly there are going to be rude people everywhere-which is unfortunate. Now having said that I tend to take what I can from each encounter whether in person or in this format-hopefully in this process you can connect with folks to help support you through this journey! I am 9 months post op and it has been AMAZING!! Feel free to chat me up-I will certainly help out if I can-
I rely on support and would say it is very important!
Take care!
