Surgery is tomorrow

So far, I'm too busy doing things to have time to be nervous.  I am a little scared.  More just because it's surgery than the type of surgery.  I've read and read and read and I hope that I've made the right decision.  I do know, without a doubt, that I can't go on the way I have been.

Unfortunately, surgery isn't until very late afternoon.  I'm going to have all day tomorrow to second guess myself.  Maybe I'll save some of my errands for tomorrow, just to keep busy.

I've had a lot of prior surgeries so I won't know until I wake up whether or not adhesions got in the way of the surgery.  The doctor said that if it's too bad that he'll just close me up and we'll try to get me approved for a sleeve.  Not sure how I feel about that.  But, no sense in dwelling on that, nothing I can do about it anyway.  

If you happen to think about it, send good thoughts my way tomorrow.     

I will send plenty of good thoughts your way.  I will be in the same boat next Monday.  I'm not nervous yet but will be next week.  This will be the first surgery I've ever had so I don't know how it will go for me.

Maybe you will get a call this afternoon and they will move your surgery time up so you won't have a lot of time of waiting tomorrow.  Good luck!

I'm unusually calm about the whole thing.  That maybe because the hubby and kids are freaking out.  The calmer I stay, the calmer they are.
