Had Appt. today.

Had my first appointment today with the Bariatric Specialists of North Carolina and I must say I am thrilled.  More calm and at ease.  I met with the surgeon and he answered all of my questions and he and the  staff was friendly and helpful.   Those of you who told me about your experiences, thank you.    I started this journey at one surgeon's office and I will continue it here. There were a few things that the other office I started at did not do BUT my new office does do, like test wise and I am happy about that.  I would rather have more test than not have enough done. One of the biggest things is meeting the surgeon.  Old office-meet surgeon right when the surgery is scheduled....New office meet the surgeon the 1st appointment. I like the fact I actually met who will be working on me before hand and could ask all of my questions and plus.   I have prayed and prayed and I know all will work out.  Ready for my sleeve now.  LOL!   Thanks everyone!

I'm glad your experience was good.  Which Dr is doing your surgery.  Mine will be Dr. Enoch.  I finally got my approval from insurance.  It took almost 3 weeks.  So hopefully, I will have my pre-op appt soon and get my surgery scheduled.  Now I am excited and a little nervous.
