PCP

So my first visit with my new PCP (old one left the practice) did not go well and needless to say I left UPSET!    Basically she does not favor WLS.  She said I can do the 6 months weight managment reuired by my insurance and if I lost weight then I did not need the surgery becasue I could do it "the hard" way and if I didn't loose then she would not be able to recommend me for surgery.  So I am thinking with you either way you aren't going to recommend me. SO I made an appointment for Monday with a new PCP that my surgeon's office recommended and I pray she is on board.

Question:  If she happens to not be on board(Praying she is), do you know of a PCP that will recommend WLS and look at both the good and the bad and not just the bad?

Thanks Ladies

I don't know where you are in NC but if you are around Cary then you might want to look up Dr. Alexander Newman. I had been going to them since before my surgery and they were very positive about the whole procedure. They even offered to visit me in the hospital after surgery, but I never got the chance to give them my surgery date!
