Ups and Downs

 Hi everyone,

I'm about 6 months out, and for the most part, am LOVING my new lifestyle.  I'm tickled to pieces that I can walk without huffing and puffing (and even jog a little!)...that I can work with a trainer without overwhelming embarrassment and that I can buckle a seatbelt without having to wonder if it will fit around me.  All those things and more keep me going.

The down???  The past few days, I have been noticing my old ways of thinking and acting creeping back in...WANTING to eat constantly...walking to the kitchen several times a night looking for something to eat...

What are some interventions that you all use to banish those kinds of thoughts and behaviors?

Thanks!

Sadly and embarrassingly I experience days with this old behavior even as far out as I am. Fortunately I can redirect myself most of the time or just make a good choice. But occasionally I make the 'bad' choice. Then I just move on.I do find that when I begin hunting for something to eat it really is time for me to eat again. I just have to remember that I can't eat junk because my body needs protein and real nutrients.
