Attn: NC DS'ers! TWO upcoming events in November!
Yes, that is right...we have TWO NC DS events in November! Double the opportunity to meet and gab with other folks walking the same path.
The first is on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15th at 11:30. Sudan DS'ers Tessy (ysset888) and Renee (~Truffles~) will be in town from VA for their follow-up visits with Sudan, and would love to have lunch with area DS'ers. We will meet at Ruby Tuesday's at Northgate Mall, which is at exit 176 off I-85 (the same exit as for Sudan's office).
The second is our monthly NC DS meetup, on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20th at 6:00. This is an informal opportunity to meet with other area DS'ers and trade stories, tips, and successes, as well as develop a local support network. We will meet at Chilis at Brier Creek, which is near the intersection of I-540 and Hwy. 70. This meetup is open to anyone in the area who has had the Duodenal Switch or is interested in learning more about it.

Also, we have set up a NC DS Facebook Group. This is an opportunity to connect directly with area DS'ers outside of our monthly meetups. The group is set to "private", so none of your facebook friends will see that you are a member. If you would like to join, please PM me your Facebook name, and I will send you a friend inviation. Once you accept my invitation, I can add you to the group.
