Well, It will be 3 years this coming December since I had my GB Surgery and would do it all over in a heart beat.  But this coming Tuesday I will be going in to have Kidney stones removed. Yes, it is 1 (one) of several side affects for having the surgery. Another is Gall Bladder stones.  To my suprise it's from eating all the right food such has Protien, calcuim, green veg, ect. When they remove the stone (17mm) they will send it off to see what is is composed of, then ajust diet and  be on medication so I will not have this problem again.( Cross your fingers). My Urologist will be  Dr. Pierce Irby that works closely with my GB surgeon Dr. Kuwada.
Will update when I can.

Hi Reenie,

It's been such a long time since I've heard from you. I'm so sorry to hear that you are experiencing the pain of those devilish kidney stones. I had a brief encounter with them about a little over a year after my surgery, but they have laid low and haven't been bothering me for a couple of years. It was some of the most excruciating pain I have ever encountered; worse for me than the gall stones I had about 16 years ago following my daughter's birth.

I will pray for you safe surgery and quick recovery. I hope that this resolves the issues for you and that you will be better than new very soon. Please do come back and let us know how you are doing.

Warmly,

Barbara
