Hi everyone. Its been a while since I have been on here, just been going through some things. But anyways, I was wondering, does anyone have any good halloween recipes? I have been looking around and all I seem to find are recipes that I won't be able to eat. I wanna try to get some that I can eat and also my youngest son can eat hopefully. He is only 7 years old and he is already borderline having high blood pressure and he is really overweight for his age. I'm getting him to try new foods and so far so good. Now, i'm not gonna keep him from going trick ortreating but I will definitely limit how much candy he eats everyday.

Ok but back to halloween recipes and ideas lol. If anyone has any recipes, can u please pass them along. Also, I am going to throw a halloween party and yes, I am going to dress up as something. Just don't know what yet. Maybe like a fairy or something lol. But i am gonna dress my puppy up as a little devil lol. She is too cute though. I have pictures of her on my camera but i still have to put them on the computer. Anyways, thanks in advance for any ideas or recipes I get. I really appreciate it. Love u guys mucho!!

We make alot of pumpkin sedds around this time of year. You and your son could dig them out and season them together. We sometimes use season salt, old bay seasoning and you can also go sweet with some splenda and cinamon.

I also have a child that struggles with weight. We sent her to a weight loss camp and they had alot of good food options to replace fatty ones. Just thought I would tell you a few to see if he would eat it. We have switched from beef to ground bison which is very lean, my son who is a picky eater does not complain. You can also make up the PB2 if your son like Peanut butter. The other thing my daughter enjoys is the veggie sausage in the morning, low in fat and high in protein. Anyway I know you did not ask but i know what a struggle it is to have an over weight child.

They also have sugar free chocolate that you can dye orange and cover some pretzels(bak to the halloween thing)

Wishing you and your son LOTS of fun over the holiday
