Raleigh weight loss buddy?

Hello!  I'm looking for a local penpal/ weight loss buddy.  I wish my friends could understand my perspective a bit more (well, I wouldn't wish obesity on them, but they're thin and don't "get it").  So I've decided to add new friends too. 

I'm in my 30's, married, no kids (unless you count the type with 4 legs), and having Roux-en-Y in November 2010.  I would really like to have someone to go through this process with.  Anyone else feeling the same way?

I think that most of us can understand where you are coming from. As a matter of a fact, I started a support group just because of this and you are most welcome to join us if you want. Hi.  Sounds like we are in the same boat.  I've heard this over and over; "You can do it on your own,"  blah blah blah.  Anyway, I'm scheduled for RNY on 10/25/10.  Add me as a friend if you'd like.

Thanks, everyone!  I've added you all.  I'm having the RNY procedure this November in Raleigh.  I can't tell if I'm nervous, excited, or flat out petrified, or all of the above!
