Counting your water intake

During the first week post-op can you tell me whether soup counts towards your liquid intake for the day>]?

Not sure of your surgeons program, but having broth during the first 3 weeks of my program was included in my total fluid intake

What about the V-8 butternut sqush soup.  The surgeon said it was ok to drink it but does it count towards the fluids?

I would call your surgeon's office to see how they want you to calculate your intake of fluids and protein. My program allowed me to count all liquids as liquid, so a 4 ounce protein drink that was liquid was counted as 4 ounces of liquid and 'x' protein grams.
