Dr. David C. Voellinger?

So I was all set to go with Dr. David Voelinger and I saw negative reviews. CAn anyone tell me why they were negative and what other doctors in the Charlotte area I can see

While I don't have any personal experience w/Dr. Voelinger, I've heard that he's very competent. You can go to the 'Find A Surgeon' link on the blue bar above this thread and do a search for Charlotte area Dr's. You will be able to see a number of reviews for the Dr's listed. I hope that will help you. 

I also don't have any personal experience with Dr Voelinger, but if you are anywhere near Matthews, NC, Dr Jon Pirrello is top notch!!!   I am 6 weeks post op.  Dr Pirrello honestly makes you feel as though you are his only patient.  He spends all the time he needs with you to make sure you understand everything about your surgery.

 If you are having a DS, I wouldn't go with him.  Also there are lots of good RNY surgeons around there.  research.

Dr Carl Lowe, Carolina Surgical Group, he is an excellent surgeon.  Dr Vollenger office took me threw too many hoops...............

Hello I know first hand about Dr. Voellinger I started the RNY (info) process in 2007 and I found Dr V in Jan. 08 I went to his class and had an 1 on 1 appointment an April 08 to me my insurance put me through HELL and one of his employees because she was dragging her feet but I held strong because I got approved on April 16th 2010 and I had surgery on June the 7th and my only regret is that I did not have it years ago. Then again my time was HIS time. I have lost 70lbs since surgery and I am thankful. 

Im having my surgery with Dr. Carl Lowe..is is right down the street from Voelinger..who i had tried a coupe years ago..never cared for him. Dr. Lowe is super nice, his program is easy and fast.  My aunt and cousin have both gone through Dr, Lowe.
