Second Surgiversary Today!

Today marks the two year anniversary for my gastric bypass surgery!  I feel fantastic and actually was a guest speaker last night for pre-op patients who are getting ready for their procedures.  (When I arrived at the meeting last night, the lady at the door said to me, "I take it you're one of the speakers?"  I almost cried and thanked her profusely!)  At my heaviest weight I was 342 lbs.......this morning I weighed in at 180 and 1/2......incredible!

I know that this web site has helped me these past two years.  The advice and suggestions I've received have been so helpful, and so appreciated.  I hope that all of you who are just starting out, or who have questions about these procedures (the good, the bad, and the ugly) will do what I did and just.......ask!  The men and women on this message board truly want to help you, and give you their experiences.  I learned so much, and am so grateful!

Happy Friday, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!!

In case you didn't pick up on that - I was singing as I was typing. I am amazed by your changes over the past 2 years. I cannot say enough about this journey - I'm glad you're on it with me.

Keep up the great work. We're here when you need us...and thank you for doing the same for us.
