Wednesday Check-in
What are your plans for the day? Anything interesting happen yesterday?
It is Humpday already! I love it. Yesterday was a whirlwind of activity, so the day was over almost before I realized it started. Today looks like more of the same.
I will continue my search for a yoga class. I have a co-worker that mentioned she was interested also. The internet websites I have visited so far are confusing and look like it can be costly. I will keep checking out other places until I find something more in my price range and time schedule. I could probably start out at a yoga studio and then transition to the classes at the spa, where I already pay a monthly fee.
Today I will concentrate on hydration. I did not get anything but my coffee in until late afternoon yesterday. After I got home for the day, I realized I had not visited the restroom since I left home for work 9 hours earlier.
Wishing you all a WONDERFUL day!
Make it a great day---It really is up to you!

Things are going well! The stall I posted about a few weeks ago ended and that was a HUGE relief. I think, too, that the weight loss is slowing down, which is ok with me!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday :)

Good Morning All,
Today I'm heading back to the office to help out. I need to be sure to stay hydrated and to take my supplements. I found a great little vitamin sorter thing at the dollar store that has a four slot little pack for each day of the week that I can load ahead of time and toss in my purse or pocket. That seems to be helping me remember to have the little buggers with me when I need them.

I'm working on breaking the carb cycle yet again. I am amazed at how easily I turn back to comfort foods - just a nibble to begin with then I realize that they have replaced the protein, the caffeine free beverages and the good carbs (seemingly overnight). I must track my food to get myself back on the straight and narrow. It's such a delicate balance to keep this body of mine running in the best ways possible. Again I have to remind myself that surgery was only on my stomach and not a surgical removal of a lifetime of bad habits and choices (now that would have been the easy way out)!!!!
I've got to brag on my oldest son for a minute. He made me a huge batch of very fresh, very spicy salsa this weekend. Think 6 pounds of roma tomatoes as the main ingredient. If there was ever a perfect way to break the carb cycle - this is it. I eat it with everything. For breakfasts it's in my egg beaters. For snacks it's a dip for celery sticks and in lettuce wraps. For dinner last night it was the perfect pairing with grilled porkchops. Tonight it's going over grilled fish.
Hope everyone has a happy hump day....we're one day closer to the weekend.

Enjoy the salsa and know that your awareness is half the battle and you are working on the accountability factor. I think that with those two things, you'll be able to get you boat back in the water and headed the direction you want it to go. I find that when I log, I tend to think a little or a lot more about what I'm putting in my mouth. I tend to make better choices.
Wishing you all the best,
