What do you have planned for this weekend?
I'm planning on meeting some friends and hopefully make a few new ones when I head off to the NC Museum of Art. We'll be meeting for brunch... yes, you can still do this post op :-)... and then we'll be touring the huge new facility seeing some of the new exhibits. I need to find a comfortable pair of shoes since I broke my toe this week and have been hobbling around like an old woman :-/
I was also thinking of going to Cary's Lazy Daze festival on Sunday. We've never gone before. To be honest, we never went for many years because I knew we'd have to part out in boonies and walk forever, then I would just melt in the heat. The last couple of years since I lost the weight, I just haven't been in town when they have had the festival, but this year I want to go and I know that I'll be able to handle the walking with ease and the heat shouldn't be too much of a problem.
So... What are you planning to do and is it any different now that you have started out on a new, healthier life?

Then I believe I will be dropping some more money on Sunday at the Smithfield outlets. I love going there, and now that my daughter has lost weight she is very into buying clothes. So again I think my money will be going to my 12 year olds wardrobe. Are you seeing a trend here HA HA!!!!
After sending our daughter to weighloss camp this summer it is a pleasure to spend time with her. She not only lost pounds she gained a whole new outlook and positive self image. Kind of like her mom. YAY us.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Barbara I have been to Lazy Days once and I personnally like the hand made items and jewlery. Find something just for yourself!!!!!!!!
Audra
Hi Audra,
I hope that you and your daughter have a nice time. My daughter is now 16. When I had my surgery, she was just a year older than your daughter and like your daughter, has experience her own transformation. It is really fabulous. I was getting her some back to school clothes and she wasn't with me. While we don't share clothes and she is bigger on the bottom than I am, I can try on dresses and tops to see if they will fit her... I would never have thought that would happen!
Unless I come into an massive inheritance before I go to Lazy Daze otherwise, I think I'll just be looking, but that will be fun too.
Have a nice weekend.
