Insurance Approval and date
I have BCBSNC and was approved last Tuesday. It was only submitted on Saturday so they worked very quickly. When Wake Surgical called to give me the good news they already had a date for me ...September 1st.
Very excited and nervous!!
Wake Surgical is such a great Practice. I attended other Information meetings to never get called back and left messages at other offices to get called back weeks later. Dr Ng and Dr Sharpe (who trained at Duke) are very efficient and I have been told that Dr Ng has some of the best surgical skills around. I like that they attend the Support Group meetings as well as the Dietician. The nurses always take your phone calls and any procedure that needs done outside the Clinic gets scheduled timely and accurately. This is not meant to be a "commercial" for them (they don't need me for that). I just have read where people are having problems or have been unhappy with the communication they have received from their Surgeon and wanted to express that there are other great options in Raleigh.
I hope to begin attending the local OH Support meetings (schedule conflicts) and getting to know everyone!!
